NEIL DIAMOND: Changes “Sweet Caroline” For The Coronavirus Age

Neil Diamond just cheered up fans stuck at home in self-isolation because of the coronavirus.

The singer performed a re-worked version of his hit “Sweet Caroline,” for the coronavirus age, and instead of “hands, touching hands,” sang “hands, washing hands,” and changed “reaching out / Touching me, touching you” to “reaching out / Don’t touch me, I won’t touch you.”

“I know we’re going through a rough time right now, but I love ya,” he says in the clip. “I think, maybe if we sing together, well, we’ll just feel a little bit better. Give it a try, okay?”
