3-W-S is partnering with Dollar Energy Fund for a fun way to help families in the Pittsburgh region stay warm this winter with the Winter Warm Up Request-A-Thon. Listen to 94.5 3WS on November 13th and 14th, 2018 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m, for your chance to have your song request played on the radio. Simply make a donation to Dollar Energy Fund during the event, tell us your song request, and listen to 94.5 3WS!
Make a song request and donation by calling 1-800-823-WARM, donating online at dollarenergy.org, or texting WARM to 50555 to add a $10 donation to your wireless bill.* We’ll make every effort to play your request, but higher donation amounts will increase your chances of hearing your song in its entirety.
Become a Neighborhood Hero!
A donation of $180, made in installments of $15/month or with a one-time donation, will make you a Neighborhood Hero! A $180 donation becomes $360 in assistance once matched by our utility partners. This amount is equal to Dollar Energy Fund’s average winter heating season grant amount and is enough to keep the utility service on for a household in need during the winter. Your support at this level makes you eligible for specific donation incentives and your song request will jump to the top of our list.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Dollar Energy Fund, a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit organization that provides utility assistance to households facing a utility crisis. Every donation will receive a dollar-for-dollar match from Dollar Energy Fund’s utility partners, giving your support double the impact in helping your neighbors in need. All donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our utility partners, which makes your gift go twice as far in helping those in our region who are in need of utility assistance this winter.
