It IS Wednesday - that's her name! A 2-year-old boxer mix who's ready to head home with you - such a sweetie! One issue, which really isn't an issue anymore - she's got a congenital defect of the tongue, which makes it hard for her to eat - but, the Humane Society staff has figured out how to chill some canned food/kibble patties for her that she has an easier time with!

Last May, the Western PA Humane Society received a
phone call from Children and Youth Services (CYS) of Allegheny County. They had responded to a complaint about a minor child and found 32 animals living in horrendous conditions. After a very long and costly legal process the animals were finally released for adoption. Many have already been adopted, but 7 pit bull dogs remain. See their story below!
